MyHoneymoon provides the following statement of disclosure and understanding for couples registering with The MyHoneymoon Account Service. Please read through the statement carefully to make sure you understand the service terms. If after review, you have any questions, please

PLEASE NOTE: By completion of your registration on www.myhoneymoon.co.uk, you are agreeing to the terms included below in our Statement of Disclosure and Understanding.

Statement of Disclosure and Understanding

You and your partner (also referred to as "couple(s)") have agreed to engage in the MyHoneymoon Account service for your honeymoon gift registry.

OUR DEALINGS WITH YOU:

By using the Service you are accepting that you shall be bound by the following terms and conditions of business.

By registering for the Service you confirm that all information provided by you is accurate.

You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only and agree not to post any content on the Website which is abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, fraudulent, threatening or defamatory.

 We reserve the right to delete any material from your account at any time, or remove the entire Wedding Account from the Website if we believe the Wedding Couple have breached any of the terms and conditions above.

All correspondence shall be conducted in English unless agreed otherwise.

This agreement shall be governed by the law of England and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

IF MYHONEYMOON ASSISTS YOU WITH TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS (OPTION1):

FOR OUR HONEYMOON REGISTRY: A registry set-up fee of £49.99 will be applied to your registry and must be paid before the registry is created and activated by MyHoneymoon. The initial set-up payment of £49.99 will be incorporated into the total of your travel booking. MyHoneymoon reserves the right to delete or modify inappropriate text added by the wedding couple.

Due to the intensive nature of research and travel quotes, we recommend that you have a good idea of your honeymoon budget and desired destination in mind to help keep your costs to a minimum. MyHoneymoon does provide itinerary and destination quotes free of charge.

Couples understand that although they may use MyHoneymoon to make their travel arrangements as a travel agent, they are free to choose Option 2 enabling them to use any travel agency of their choice (a 7% service fee is payable against the final balance of the account to help cover the ongoing expense of administering your registry and providing full services to you and your guests.)

If available, deposits required by airlines, wholesalers, travel agency, hotels, resorts, etc. will be paid from your MyHoneymoon account as necessary. However, if funds are not available in account at the time deposit is required, the deposit must be paid by you. A credit card will be requested for this purpose. You will be reimbursed from your registry account when (if) funds become available.

If available, final balances due required by airlines, wholesalers, travel agency, hotels, resorts, etc. will be paid from your MyHoneymoon registry account as necessary. However, if funds are not available in account at time the final balance is due, the final balance must be paid by you. A credit card will be requested for this purpose. You will be reimbursed from your registry account when (if) funds become available. (Please note: many wholesalers, cruise lines and resort properties such as Sandals or Club Med require final balances to be paid from 45 to 60 days prior to departure.)

MyHoneymoon is a registry service. Should you engage MyHoneymoon to assist you in your travel planning (through MyHoneymoon Travel or in conjunction with other agencies or wholesalers), you understand that MyHoneymoon is in no way liable for any arrangements made by the wholesaler, tour operator, or MyHoneymoon Travel.

Similarly, you understand that MyHoneymoon is not liable for problems with resorts, hotels and tickets not directly the fault of MyHoneymoon. You are aware that although MyHoneymoon Travel may assist you in securing incidental items or bookings, MyHoneymoon, is in no way liable for the outcome of the arrangements made or any associated problems not directly the fault of MyHoneymoon.

IF MYHONEYMOON DOES NOT ASSIST YOU WITH TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS (OPTION 2):

FOR OUR HONEYMOON REGISTRY: A non-refundable registry set-up fee of £49.99 will be applied to your registry and must be paid before the registry is created and activated by MyHoneymoon. MyHoneymoon reserves the right to delete or modify inappropriate text added by the wedding couple.

When choosing Option 2 (the complete service which excludes travel planning and booking) a 7% service fee is payable against the final balance of the account. This is to help cover the ongoing expense of administering your registry and providing full services to you and your guests.

When choosing Option 2, MyHoneymoon does not book and prepay for the honeymoon or extra/incidental activities such as sightseeing tours, dinner cruises, massages and the like. Rather, MyHoneymoon collects the gift payments and provides a lump-sum payment to the couple prior to their honeymoon. Couples have the flexibility to use these funds to finance the honeymoon and activities they choose to do while on their honeymoon.

Unless other arrangements are made with MyHoneymoon, MyHoneymoon will distribute the lump sum to the wedding couple when convenient for the couple.

If the honeymoon is cancelled by your request, any money in your registry account will be refunded proportionately (minus any deposits kept by airlines, hotels, etc) to contributors. When choosing Option 2 you will still be responsible for paying MyHoneymoon the 7% fee on the gifts purchased through the full service registry.

We are not responsible for how the Wedding Couple choose to spend the money transferred to the Account.

THE WEBSITE

We may provide links from our Website to other websites.  We are not responsible for the content and availability of other websites and we assume no responsibility for any products or policies thereon.

It is the responsibility of the Wedding Couple to ensure they have the appropriate permission from the intellectual property right holder of any images or content they intend to include on their homepage.

If we are contacted by the holder of an intellectual property right who alleges infringement of such right by the Wedding Couple's homepage, we reserve the right to remove the said material until such time as the matter is fully investigated by us.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We observe a strict duty of confidentiality with respect to the Wedding Couple and Contributing Party's financial affairs.  We will not disclose your personal details including full name and address to anyone else, other than to any agents acting on our behalf who are also bound by the same strict duty of confidentiality as we are, except in the four cases permitted by law.  These are:
- where we are legally compelled to do so;
- where there is a duty to the public to disclose;
- where our legitimate interests require disclosure;
- where disclosure is made at your request or with your request.

VARIATION:

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions for the time being applicable to you.  We will notify you should there be a change in the terms and conditions which affect the Service.  We will always give you at least 10 Working Days notice.

USING AND SHARING YOUR INFORMATION:

The Service is provided by Como Street Travel ltd.  We are the data controller.

Your information may be held on our databases and used by us for the purposes set out below.  Your information includes any information which we hold, now or at any time in the future and which comes from or relates to application forms or other dealings with us. 

We may use and analyse your information to maintain our relationship with you.  We may use your information to help us understand our business including new and innovative products and services.

As our business and our relationship with you develops, the way in which we look at, record and use your information may change.  In most cases these changes will result from enhancements in technology and, we believe, will be in line with your expectations.  When we believe the changes may not be obvious to you, we will give you notice of them.
